    Since 1970s, SCM started to work on the design and manufacture of marine deck machinery. In the early 1980s, SCM introduced the advanced modern technology from foreign companies. At present, SCM has produced large-sized windlass with chain diameter of φ120mm and winches with pull up to 500t.

    In additional to the above mentioned products, with its rich experience and strong technical strength, SCM has developed special-purpose cranes such as wave-compensated crane, deep-sea crane, deep-sea winch and crane with mechanical handle etc.

    SCM has more than 10 sets of crane test stands, the largest one can test the crane up to 4000tm. All products have been tested according to the national and international Standards and Rules before delivery. Certificates issued by classification societies such as CCS, ABS, LRS, GL, DNV, BV, KR, NK etc. can be provided. The products with SCM own intellectual property right have been exported to foreign countries such as South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Viet Nam, U.K., France, Norway etc.

    Further, SCM new manufacturing base in Guangzhou is under construction and will be put into production in the year 2008. The new manufacturing base occupies more than 130,000 square meters with building area of 40,000 square meters and will be equipped with perfect and modern manufacturing facilities. Each year more than 150 ship-set deck machinery and more than 250 sets of various cranes can be manufactured after the completion of the new manufacturing base.
